I graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2003 with Bachelors of Architecture and Fine Arts. Architecture is my first love, and I greatly enjoy being pushed to find creative solutions to practical design proglems. I enjoy working closely with clients to help them solidify their design vision in a satisfying way.
Soon after I started my job at the Penn State Libraries where my skills with digital arts and equipment were put to use. I've gained experience in scanning and reproducing documents, photos, and other objects as well as working with online databases to create digital projects for the University. My position also gave me the opportunity to work with people of diverse backgrounds to create posters and other promotional items for their own projects.
I've always had an interest in designing web pages, starting from early high school where I taught myself HTML. Later, I learned CSS, Javascript, Flash, and Actionscript in order to expand on my ability to produce web pages. My digital arts skills have come in handy for producing custom graphics for my projects.
